The 22nd Annual ASK 5K & Fun Walk is Saturday, May 22, 2027 at CarMax Park. ASK is also hosting an ASK Walk in Southwest Virginia at Spartan Field on Saturday, May 22, 2027. Yes! All children participating in the ASK Walk must be registered. Children under 3 can register for free, but will not receive a bib, T-shirt, or finisher's medal.Children ages 3-10 must register as walkers for $10 and will receive a T-shirt. If participating in Richmond, children will also receive a finisher's medal and entry to the Kids' Donut Dash.Children ages 11 or older must register at the applicable registration rate (choose walker or timed runner) and will receive a T-shirt. If participating in Richmond, children will also receive a finisher's medal.Register here.

Your registration includes event access, including all activities and goodies, and a personal online fundraising page. Additionally, your registration may include an event t-shirt, finisher medal, timing chip - see registration form for details. Because you receive physical goods and event perks in return, registration fees are not tax-deductible but donations made to ASK are fully tax-deductible!

Registered Richmond 5K Timed Runners will receive a bib with a timing chip. Results will be posted by the timing company as soon as possible after the event, and linked on our website askwalk.org. A timing clock will also be in view at the start / finish line. Timing is not available for the Southwest Virginia Walk.

Donations are made to ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation to provide children and families with pediatric cancer with assistance, support, and kindness through community and connection, educational support, and family support.

All donations directly benefit ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed. A receipt will be automatically emailed to you if making your gift online. If you’d like to make a donation, click Donate on the top menu. This year, we’re trying a new QR code ticketing feature for the Richmond 5K & Fun Walk to get you through check-in faster than ever! Does not apply to Southwest Virginia Walk or virtual participants.Here’s what you need to know:Where is my ticket? It was sent to your email right after you registered.How do I use it? Simply show the QR code on your phone (or a printed copy) at Early Packet Pickup or at the registration table on Walk day.Lost your ticket? Don't stress! We can quickly resend your ticket or look up your registration by name on event day. We won't turn anyone away!
